For Auto Title Transfers: Please Read Carefully To Avoid Getting a Duplicate Title

Seller Must Be Present and Willing to complete all boxes in the seller section IN THE PRESENCE OF AN OHIO NOTARY - Swear Mileage, info and Price Are Accurate plus bill of sale for crafts. You are swearing to this info in front of a Notary. 

Seller, please have the buyer name and address ready at your signing. Seller must have correct name(must match what the buyer has on their ID) and address of buyer. This cannot be left blank in the Seller section. No blank spaces are allowed.

The Assignment of Ownership section is a SWORN statement by the Seller(s), that the information they are providing for the title transfer is truthful and correct. This includes the buyer’s name/address, the odometer reading, and the ACTUAL sales price. Each Seller/signer must be ID’d, given an oath/affirmation, and sign in the presence of the notary. 

I cannot sign a title that has blank info-boxes in the Seller section, not can I sign the Seller section if the Seller pre-filled the info boxes before meeting a notary. It must be done in witness of a Notary.

The Buyer does NOT have to be present for me to notarize the Seller Section.

If buyer is present, they can fill out their section in front of me and IU can notarize their sworn statement too.

Your I.D. names must match what is on the vehicle Title.

California Titles

If you have a title from California, it does not need notarized, it needs to be signed over to a new buyer from the seller.

Other out of state vehicle titles
